Ross is a doctor by profession who shares a passion for landscape photography. Living in Yorkshire he mainly photographs the Dales, Moors, and Lakes but he particularly enjoys the beauty of the mountains and coast of Northern Scotland.
The majority of the images were shot on film using a wooden Ebony SW45 large format field camera. They explore the interplay of changing light, the changing colours through the seasons and the relationship between foreground textural elements and the landscape beyond.
